Alemaal is an expression of what we can achieve when people, ideas and opportunities come together.
In 2017, I put a simple purpose into writing: bring people together.
That purpose became the foundation of Allemaal (Worldview) Foundation. I wanted to create opportunities for people around the world through education, scientific research, religion, technology, love and diplomacy. I believed then, as I do now, that we achieve more when we bring our abilities together.
The Dutch word allemaal means “all” or “everyone.” For me, Alemaal carries the idea further: all together, with a global outlook. It is a belief that our backgrounds, talents and ambitions can connect to something larger than ourselves.
I am building Alemaal to give that belief a practical form. Our developing portfolio spans technology, security, learning, communication, design and everyday life. Each needs the freedom to develop its own identity and the discipline to do its work well.
What connects them is a question I keep asking: what can we build that helps people move forward? Sometimes the answer is a useful product. Sometimes it is an invention, a service, a learning opportunity or a way to bring people together.
For me, global impact is an ambition we must earn through the work. It means thinking beyond one market, one industry or one way of seeing the world, while paying attention to the person we are serving today.
The nonprofit purpose belongs in this story alongside the businesses. Creating opportunity and contributing to the lives of others are part of why Alemaal exists.
There is still much to build. My commitment is to keep learning, connect ideas across boundaries, and turn ambition into work that matters.
Thank you for taking an interest in what comes next.
I AIM—to make a difference.
